Today at 3:18pm, Spring Break officially begins! I'm counting the minutes just like the students in my 8th period class! We have a big weekend planned. Our granddaughter Julia has her 3rd birthday tomorrow, and even though she requested that no adults but Mommy and Daddy come, we're planning to crash the party! Since the boys are in from Austin, we will celebrate my mom's 85th birthday with a cozy, family lunch on Sunday. Monday, with bags packed and car full of overpriced gas, we will head south for Austin and our runaway with Lori and John. I feel a hint of the stress leaving my neck and can almost smell the fun we're about to have!
